The big red dog ...
UCh, SaeSi Talk Dirty To Me, CR, OTR - "Spank ee"
DOB: October

Spankee will soon be a Desert Dust Bunny! The Ashcraft family will
be adding him to their family in late February and we are thrilled to
welcome them into our SaeSi family!
Spankee
is sired by Mouff out of the Wasso's bitch K.I.A. whom they allowed
me to lease for this breeding. The pedigree combines some of my favorite
whippets from the ring as well as the track. Spankee is a very loving dog, bullet proof temperament and
very
willing to do anything asked of him. His race career started late 2009
(both flat track and oval), he averaged B/C on the flat and B on the oval.
He
started UKC coursing (July 2010) and his first time out resulted in
winning multiple Breed Stakes. October 31, 2010 we thought he completed
his Coursing
Championship at the Gateway Nationals in Gray Summit, Missouri and was
the first Whippet to achieve this title, unfortunately he had ran in
Mixed Stakes and no one informed me that those runs/points and wins
would go toward a DIFFERENT title. Alas, he has retired from coursing
with 70 points and 2 wins against competion toward his CCB (Coursing
Champion-Breed) and 85 pts and 2 wins against competition toward his
CCM (Coursing Champion-Mixed).
This was truly disappointing as his feet incurred career ending
injuries that last day so he will not complete either title, short 30
points for the CCB and 15 points for his CCM. Regardless, we know
without a doubt that he is a whippet in true form with drive, desire
and dedication.
In
addition to his
racing, he completed his UKC Conformation Championship with back to
back Group 1s. With AKC at the Lexington KY show he won the bred
by class under Whippet breeder judge Shelley Hennessy.
